Library

Lower School students visit the library once a week as a homeroom. Teachers read a book to the class, students read silently, and then each student selects a book to check out for the week. Providing opportunities for students to read within a positive atmosphere as well as allowing them to select books that are most interesting to them helps develop a love of reading. Teachers do help students select books that are both interesting for that child and at an appropriate reading level.
