Joyce Ricks, MFT

Joyce earned her Bachelor of Arts in Human Development and her Master of Arts in Marriage and Family Therapy, both from Pacific Oaks College. She has nine years of experience teaching preschool and was elected to the school board for five years, serving as president one of those years. She has experience as a Foster Care social worker, a therapist with Family Dynamics Center, Valley Oasis Domestic Violence Center, and outpatient mental health. Joyce served as a behavioral interventionist for children with autism and other disabilities using ABA techniques. She served as director of the school age program at Palmdale United Methodist Educational Services. Joyce has the following certifications and licenses: Marriage & Family Therapy Certification, CPI Certification, Child Development Associate Certification, LPC, LMFT, LAPC, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Teaching Certification, and CPR and First Aid Certification.
